Hi. My name's David Collins. I'm an embedded software engineer based in County Waterford, Ireland. My work typically involves writing software for custom electronics - using microcontrollers, etc..

I do have formal qualifications, but prefer to be judged on the calibre of my work rather than the letters after my name. Ergo, the creation of this site. (I realize I don't have a lot to show here at the moment. Although my day-to-day work is interesting, it doesn't leave me with much time to curate or update this site.)

As of 2020, I have started using this blog for 'opinion' pieces also. I might separate the relevant articles in due course.
